It has been a truly long and amazing experience with this car. I have been able to get good mileage and a lot of transportation out of the 96 civic. It surely does not have the bells and whistles like some of my other cars but when it comes to zero headache and zero maintenance this car just leaves all other behind.

All I have done in this long time is a few regular service, some brake repair, change tires, the timing belt has been changed and a few minor changes and still the 96 civic has given me more than 200,000 miles and whenever I need to go for small errand or long trip I can count on this car. It gives me a 40 mpg and with oil prices again shooting up this sure is going to become my most frequent driven car. Again the 96 civic does have a few problems but overall the interiors as well as the exteriors are good and the work does not look cheap or shoddy.

For those looking for a second hand car this is by far one of the best if you want good mileage and low repairs. For very long trips this sure is not the most comfortable cars but still gives a good mileage on the highways even with heavy load and a few of my friends who purchased in a few years back still found their 96 civic going strong. Overall a great car from honda.

good review. these cars are build to last. i have an old model with 240,000 miles on it and it still shows no sign of dying. great cars. just start and go.

the civics are real good when it comes to reliability. more people should be turning away from the gas guzzlers and have a look at these cars.
