I was recently looking for cheap used vehicles basically for general purpose driving and for after work driving. Finally I settled for Dodge Grand Caravan as it had lots of space and the performance on it looked great. Although this one had around 25000 miles on it but as I did not want to spend a lot on this purchase that had to be accepted. Drove the car for some 2 days before finalizing on it.
I was able to get it for less than 9 grand. Although for this cheap used vehicles that I was out on purchase my actual budget was less 7 grand but in the end this car was the perfect fit for me in terms of space, performance, usability and sturdiness. Also I wanted a low maintenance car. Hopefully this one will not give me regular rounds to the repair guy as some earlier cars did. Overall I would suggest if anyone goes to purchase cheap used vehicles do make sure to do a lot of testing before purchase as there are good number of guys trying just to wash their hands off a bad purchase.
